Hi there!

Ashley Stringer is a self-taught artist based in Glastonbury, CT.  She works exclusively in oil and paints all things figurative, feathered and furry, focusing on rich, emotive brushstrokes and color. 

Painting started as a reprieve from her career in Human Resources at a Fortune 500 company.  She now paints full-time in her home studio.

Most of her contemporary work features small birds and figures on the beaches of Cape Cod and Florida.  She is an active member of The New Haven Paint and Clay Club and is a member of Connecticut Women Artists, Glastonbury Arts and the Lyme Art Association.  Her work can be found in the permanent collection of the New Haven Paint and Clay Club, as well as in private homes across New England.
